Dr. Djuana

Dr. D’Juana is a Writer, Bible Teacher, Cognitive Scientist, and Professor. Her journey with Jesus began in December 1985 right before her 10th birthday. Her life in Christ became true, personal, and authentic in 1994 at the age of 19. Dr. D’Juana began serving in the ministry of Jesus Christ at the age of 9 by way of the ministry of song. Dr. D’Juana began singing at the side of her mother, a premier soloist, as a young child. She went on to stand in her own right as a lead singer and soloist by the age of 10 years old and became a praise and worship leader at the age of 14. In 1995, Dr. D’Juana sensed the call of God to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ; however, she didn’t acknowledge the call until ten years later in 2005. 

Acknowledging the call of God into a deeper sphere of ministry and having a deep desire to do so with excellence, Dr. D’Juana returned to college in 2008 after five previous failed attempts; but this time in pursuit of the purpose that God had for her which made all the difference. Dr. D'Juana has obtained an Associate’s of Applie Science degree, a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies and Biblical Counseling, a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, a Master’s of Education in Mental Health Counseling, and an earned Doctor of Education degree in Counseling with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling.  

Dr. D’Juana is the Founder, Writer, and Editor-In-Chief, of Excellent Life Publishing and Global Discipleship Ministry, a discipleship ministry she initially launched in February 2011 to draw women into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Though still committed to the purpose of discipleship, in July 2013 after the death of her beloved mother, Dr. D’Juana revamped the ministry to include not just women, but "whosoever" that would come to be brought into intimate fellowship with The Father.
